Nunatta Atuagaateqarfia is the public library of Nuuk and central library of Greenland

 

Who can use the library?

Everybody can make use the library including short term visitors and tourists.

What can you use the library for?

At the library you can borrow books, magazines, audiobooks, movies and games for PS3, PS4 and PC.  In the reading room you can read the newest magazines and newspapers.

The librarians are happy to help you finding information about pretty much everything. There are free computers with internet access available. Copying and scans are also available.

Disabled people

Wheelchaired can also use the library. A ramp leads to the front door, and an elevator will take you from the ground floor to the first floor. Ask the staff at the reception to use the elevator.

Help from a librarian

There will always be a librarian available in the children’s library and in the adult library for questions about information, articles, books, subject or help using the internet.

Maybe the librarian is already helping another user; just wait at the librarian desk a few minutes and the librarian should be back again.
